Together, We Gave More: Celebrating Our United Way Matching Campaign

At Industrial Credit Union, community has always been at the heart of what we do—and this year, that commitment shined brighter than ever.
We’re proud to share the results of our recent matching donation campaign with United Way of Whatcom County, a partnership that has now spanned more than 20 years. For the first time, we opened our annual United Way giving campaign beyond employees and invited our members to participate as well. The response was inspiring.
To amplify the impact, Industrial Credit Union pledged up to $20,000 in matching funds. Thanks to the generosity of our employees and members, not only did we meet that goal—we exceeded it. Together, we raised an incredible $43,423 to support vital programs right here in Whatcom County.
This achievement is a powerful reminder of what’s possible when people come together with a shared purpose.
Why United Way of Whatcom County Matters
